Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Seal Beach Sunrooms & Patios website and any request you send us through it. When you use the site, call us or fill out our form, you're agreeing to them, so please read them first. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
When we take on your project, we'll both sign a written contract, and that contract governs the job. If the contract and these terms ever disagree, the contract wins.
You can start from our home page, learn more about us on our About page, or reach us through our Contact page.
What we do
Seal Beach Sunrooms & Patios is a sunroom contractor in Seal Beach, CA. We design and build sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, patio covers and related work for homes in Seal Beach and the cities around it.
This site describes our work in general terms. It isn't an offer to do a particular job at a particular price, and the photos and descriptions may show options that won't fit every house or lot.
We're fully licensed and insured. You're welcome to ask for those details before you sign anything.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free and done at your property, with no pressure and no obligation. An estimate is our best figure based on what we can see and measure that day, and it's good for the period written on it.
Price usually moves with the size of the room, the framing and glass you choose, the condition of the slab or deck it sits on, and any electrical or roofing tie-in work. Some things only show up once the job is open, such as rot or a slab that needs work, so if anything changes the scope or cost, we'll explain it and get your written approval before we do the added work.
Scheduling and cancellation
Start and finish dates are estimates because weather, material deliveries, permit review and inspections can move them. If your schedule shifts, we'll tell you as soon as we know.
To move or cancel an estimate visit, call (562) 200-7987 or use our contact form. For a signed project, the cancellation terms in your contract apply, along with any cancellation rights California law gives you. If you cancel after we've ordered custom materials or started work, you may owe for those costs as your contract states.
Payment
Your contract sets out any deposit, the payment schedule and the payment methods we accept for your project, and any deposit will follow California law.
Final payment is due when the work in your contract is complete. If a payment is late, the contract explains what happens next, and we'd always rather talk it through with you first.
Warranties
Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written into your contract. Materials such as glass, frames and roof panels usually carry their maker's own warranty, and those warranties often depend on following the maker's care instructions, so keep the paperwork we give you.
Apart from those written warranties, and as far as the law allows, this website and its content are provided as is, without other warranties, express or implied. We stand behind our work, so if something isn't right with your room, call us and we'll come look at it.
Limits on our liability
As far as California law allows, Seal Beach Sunrooms & Patios isn't responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from using this website or relying on its general information.
Our responsibility for a project is set by your contract. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Information and links on this site
What's on this site is general information about sunrooms and patio work. It isn't engineering, legal or permit advice for your particular house, and your city may have its own rules for your project that your written agreement will address.
Links to outside websites are there for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they say or do.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with something, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest in a conversation. If that doesn't settle it, send us a written description through our contact form and give us a reasonable chance to make it right.
If we still can't agree, we'll both consider mediation before going to court, unless your contract sets out a different process.
Which law applies
These terms and any dispute about them are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case will be heard in a court with jurisdiction over Seal Beach, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the one that applies, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
An update never changes a contract you've already signed with us.
